Koriyata is a century old elm-tree forest in the region of Galabetz village, Pomorie municipality, Bourgas region.It was declared protected territory in 1966 on an area of 20 hectares. The state game breeding station in Nessebar is taking care for preservation of the region.

Atanasovskoto Ezero (Atanasovskoto Lake) is situated north of Bourgas. It is a lagoon lake near the Bulgarian Black Sea coast on an area of 16.9 sq km. The southern part of the lake is separated by sand-bar from the sea. The bottom of the lake is covered with black slime rich to organic substances. Atanasovskoto Ezero was declared protected territory in 1980 and in 1999 was listed in higher category as well-kept reserve. The reserve spreads on a territory of 1,074.5 hectares. Some 314 kinds of birds are living in the region of the reserve and 12 of them are globally threatened species: Dalmatian Pelican (Pelecanus crispus),Brent Goose (Branta bernicla), small cormorant, etc. The lake is inhabited by Etruscan Shrew (Suncus etruscus) and wild cat. The reserve is situated at the Via Pontica migratory way. 60,000 birds of prey gather in the autumn migration, 240,000 storks, over 30,000 pink pelicans, many flocks of black storks, Dalmatian Pelicans and cranes. Atanasovskoto Ezero is included in the Ramsar Convention.

Rudenovo is a protected territory situated in Slivarovo village, Malko Tarnovo municipality, Bourgas region. The aim was to preserve the natural forest habitats from all kinds of oaks - Quercus conferta Kit, Quercus sessiliflora Salisb., Oriental beech (Fagus orientalis)and mixed forests with Common Rhododendron (Rhododendron Ponticum) and Strandzha blackberry as well as habitats of mixed and endangered from disappearance vegetative and animal species. Rudenovo was included in the list of protected territories in 1991 on an area of 15.30 hectares situated in Slivarovo village, Malko Tarnovo municipality, Bourgas region.

Silistar in Rezovo village, Tzarevo municipality, Bourgas region was declared protected territory in 1992 on an area of 773.30 hectares. The aim was to preserve the characteristic landscape of the Black Sea coastal zone, rock formations and fiords as well as specific vegetation and rich animal species habitats.

Maslen Nos is a zone with exceptionally beautiful and preserved coastal rocks with fiords and Tyulenova Cave. Maslen Nos was declared protected territory in 1973 on an area of 17.60 hectares. It was included in the Ramsar Convention and situated in town of Primorsko, Bourgas region.
