During this flight we will first pass over the largest dam in Bulgaria, the Iskar Dam. It is situated on the Iskar River and provides 2/3 of the water for the capital Sofia, also being used for producing hydroelectricity. Flying over Tsari Mali Grad will be our next objective. This is a fortress and a cultural and historical complex located in Belchin village, near Samokov. The fortress is visited by thousands of tourists who want to get the feeling of being back in ancient times. Here is the place where the daughter of the Emperor Theodosius - Aelia Galla Placidia found the paradise corner at the Earth. There was also the place where the Romans raised a fort. Tsari Mali Grad is considered as one of the wonders of Bulgaria. The Belchinovo mineral baths of the village of Belchin have mineral water with temperature of 40-41 Celsius. Having visited that, we will head back to the airport seeing the Iskar dam again on the way back.
