The Monastery "Saint Nedelya" lies at a distance of 8 km from Asenovgrad, not far away from the village of Zlatovrah (old name - Arapovo). It was founded in XIX c. Its main church was built in 1859 which is understood by an inscription above the western gate and was painted by Georgi Danchov in 1864. The initial monastery complex is preserved almost without changes. Apart from the traditional for every monastery cult, housing and farming buildings, this monastery has a big three-floor housing tower. It is located to the south of the church. The main church is a three-nave one with a dome, a narthex and side doors to the south and north. It is similar in construction to the church in the Bachkovo monastery. Its mural painting is of special interest. A large part of the illustrated scenes and images are related to themes related to the spiritual development of the Bulgarian people. The murals in the Arapovo Monastery are considered to be the first works of Georgi Danchov (1846- 1908). The chapel of the holy spring next to the northern gate of the monastery is also decorated with murals dating from 1870. During the Enlightenment here existed a printing establishment and a school.
